There is no harder time than grappling with the loss of a family member.
We cannot praise Carol & Ian of Horizon Funerals enough for their kindness in caring for Lindsay, our precious husband and father.
They guided us through the difficult decisions with warmth, compassion and professionalism, which was so comforting.
Their attention to detail and genuine desire to make the service perfect was evident not only to us but to all of our family and friends. It was everything we could have possibly wished for.
We will be forever grateful to both of them for giving our beloved, Lindsay, the farewell he deserved.

Our experience with the exemplary service offered by Horizons funerals was a blessing in disguise for our family navigating the job of arranging our 98 year old Dad’s funeral. Ian the director was empathetically in tune with the wishes of the family, and as a result, a beautiful personalised service was created and lived streamed in Australia and overseas. This prompted many appreciative messages from those who couldn’t be there due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The service was delivered with dignity, kindness and care and the overall mood demonstrated a personalised interest in our Dad as not only a person who was gone, but as a real and present entity. These personalised touches and attention to detail were evident in the content and layout of the printed order of service, now a beautiful keepsake.
