We have used Newhaven Funerals twice inn 10nonths. Their professionalism and care was brilliant. Nothing was left out at all and nothing was too much trouble. Would 100% highly recommend them
Recently we laid our dear father, father in law and Pop to rest. We chose Newhaven Funerals at STAPYLTON. We had our dear mother, mother in law and Nana laid to rest with Newhaven some 12 years prior. All the staff we came into contact with, during this very sad and difficult time in our lives, were truly caring and compassionate. The staff were in constant communication with us during our preparations for the service. We would like to personally thank Barb and Marcus for their help during this time. Barb did an amazing job with the slideshow and preparing all photos and music we chose to use for the service. She was very accomodating to our requests to add the memories we wanted in the service. We trusted her judgement with additional professional decisions, and we were not disappointed. You did an exceptional job Barb. Marcus helped with planning the service and was very helpful on the day and had been in contact prior to the service to help in any way needed. Marcus suggested a lovely celebrant, Megan, who drive 100km to meet with us in our home and discuss how we wanted our dad remembered and honoured. She was in constant contact and very accommodating to our requests for the service.
Newhaven is a family business and truely understand what family means. We weren’t rushed in anyway as I have witnessed at other funeral businesses. You and your loved one are treated with the highest of respect, not like other funeral homes. Others are just so impersonal and you are treated just like a number and rushed out the door. Newhaven gave us a few hours for the service and provided a lovely morning tea in their gazebo within their beautiful gardens to remember and celebrate the life of our dear dad passed. We highly recommend Newhaven funerals at Stapylton to anyone looking for a genuinely caring funeral home.
