We were fortunate enough to have Cheryl Forbes as our Funeral Director & celebrant for our fathers funeral. She was simply magnificent. Cheryl has genuine empathy and exhibits extraordinary kindness in difficult times. Cheryl is wonderfully articulate and brings together the key moments of a person’s life. In doing so she is always respectful of all stakeholders involved. It was terrific to work with Cheryl Forbes of Picaluna to organise and manage my Mother’s funeral recently. Cheryl has a respectful, straightforward and compassionate manner. Cheryl effortlessly accommodated my families vast array of values and religions. She also presented Picaluna’s varied levels of service in regard to Mum’s coffin & the hearse without any pressure. Cheryl helped us sort out the venue for Mum’s funeral given all of the restrictions arising from COVID 19 –once again without any pressure.
