Until this is achieved, it is likely that the service providers displayed using our comparison search service will not be representative of all service providers offering services in your area so there may be other options available to you.
While we offer paid listing options, any funeral home, funeral celebrant, or monumental mason can add their listing to our website free of charge. This stands in contrast to other websites which only list service providers who are affiliated with them, or who pay the relevant website operator. These websites do not offer a holistic view of the market in the same way that we endeavour to.
The display order of listings on our website is influenced by a range of factors including distance from the area searched, date of the listing, product costs, customer review ratings, and commercial arrangements, so please don’t interpret the listing order as an endorsement or recommendation from us. We are an independent company that is not owned by or affiliated with any other company or service provider, and do not recommend specific service providers.
Remuneration
Gathered Here is committed to offering consumers a service, at no charge, that is designed to help you navigate a range of end-of-life services. The ways we are paid are listed below. The revenue we generate helps us invest back into our business to ensure we have the staff, resources and technology needed to collect and make available the information covered by our website.
Consumers are not charged for using any services on Gathered Here. Instead, we receive fees from the service providers we work with, which may include:
- a monthly subscription fee;
- a fee per lead;
- a success fee; and/or
- a fee for purchases on interest-free finance.

At Gathered Here, we take privacy and confidentiality very seriously. When you complete a Request Quotes form we will only pass on your contact details to the relevant service providers who service your specified area. The service providers who receive these details are at our discretion and may include Premium Members (who pay us a monthly subscription fee).
